Lisbon is Portugal’s capital and largest city. It is located along Portugal’s Atlantic coast where the Tagus River flows into the sea. Lisbon has a warm Mediterranean climate with many bright and sunny days. The city’s climate is influenced by the warm Gulf Stream current that crosses the Atlantic from North America. Lisbon has four distinct weather seasons and IRG47 will be in SPRING!
Spring
Spring and particularly the month of May in Lisbon is very mild with high temperatures between 15º and 25ºC on most days. Rainfall averages about 55 mm/month. Beautiful days are commonplace in May and many people begin to visit the beaches around the city.
